Working as a Medical Assistant for over a decade in Primary Care, Urgent Care and Specialty clinics; I wasn't sure what I could do to get into something new and exciting. My colleagues were going to expensive schools, taking out huge loans and committing to 2 -year contracts. I loved being a Medical Assistant, but I just wanted more so I signed up to a Limited X-Ray Prep Course through my Employer. Downside is that they wanted a 2-year contract! Little did I know that I could have done it on my own and applied to the licensing exam myself. Now, I am helping other Medical Assistants get their Limited/Basic X-Ray license without the commitment!Ā

We all learn through experience. Let my story give you the courage to do it differently. I thought the only way to take X-rays in my clinic was to go to an expensive school or commit to years of employment by going through my employer!
